ECGs, Lung functions and Blood Pressures are monitored
electronically and are linked to our network, whilst the
patient is undergoing tests. The information is recorded
and can be viewed online by the Practitioner, Specialist
and/or Medical Aid - real-time.
For example, whilst the patient is being treated within
our facility, the information of an ECG and/or Stress
ECG can be accessed electronically by a Cardiologist for
Specialist review and motivation for admission.
In the event that the patient needs to be hospitalised,
the Specialist team awaiting the patient will be in a
position to have all the clinical information available
prior to the arrival of the patient.
Insurance Companies can further benefit from our
advanced technologies. They are able to access patient
information immediately on completion of an insurance
medical. This will benefit both the customer and the
Insurer as a result of the detail, and the speed of
delivery of information that can be generated.
All Pathology results can be forwarded on the same
basis. This reduces the chance of duplication of tests
as a result of reports not being available when the
patient arrives at the specialist and/or hospital.
Results are received electronically and reported to the
relevant practitioner who will contact the patient
directly in the event of adverse results. |
