News letter September 2005 – HEALth - Worx Boksburg
Our centre opened on 1 September 2005, with 3 General
Practitioners and 2 Dentists. We would like to welcome
Dr Peter Baxter and Dr Louis Pepler, who joined as on 1
October. We now have 4 General Practitioners and 3
Dentists.
3 of our General Practitioners studied at the Wits
University.
Dr Annandale exchanged his relaxed life by the see, for
the busy life in Boksburg. Dr Annandale came from
Richardsbaai (Kwazulu Natal). Welcome to “Lion
territory”.

Happy birthday to Charmaine with her birthday on 15
October
We would like to congratulate Debbie and her husband
Rudi, with their second baby on the way.
Dr Wim Botha who was shot during a burglary at his home
on 17 September, recovered remarkably, and he will be
back at our centre on Monday 10 October. Welcome back Dr
Botha.
Our centre had a successful promotion day on 22
September. 625 patients visited our centre. Even Admin
staff assisted with the body mass indexing of patients,
while Dr Dhulam and Dr Nair took the patients blood
pressure. Our nursing team was doing the glucose tests,
and the center’s optometrist did free eye screening.
On Monday evening 26 September, we had 56 patients who
attended a very learning full presentation on Diabetics. |
