HEALth-WorX Medical Centres are opening its first
facility in the Western Cape on Thursday 27 October 2005
in the new Willowbridge Shopping Centre in Carl Cronje
Drive, Tyger Valley.
HEALth-WorX Medical Centres is Primary Healthcare
facilities, where General Practitioners provide medical
services to patients in need of medical care.
HEALth-WorX provides patients with a quality one-stop
medical facility that provides primary, acute and
chronic medical care. This state-of-the-art facility
boasts advanced emergency facilities with general
practitioners as well as on site pathology services.
HEALth-WorX opened its first facility in Johannesburg in
June 2004. With the resounding success of this
initiative and demand from patients, we opened a further
four facilities within the next 14 months.
HEALth-WorX is geared to handle any emergency as well as
trauma, even down to common coughs and colds in a
friendly and professional environment. With the advanced
emergency facilities and equipment available, patients
can be treated on site, thus saving on unnecessary
hospitalization.
However, in the event that a patient requires
hospitalization, emergency services are on standby, and
they will be at the Centre in minutes and the patient
can be taken to the nearest hospital for high care.
Our philosophy is to provide first world medicine to our
patients, whilst reducing the total medical expenditure
of the patient and/or Medical Aid.
We have specifically positioned our facilities close to
Dis-Chem Pharmacies, to ensure that your Medical rand
can be stretched further.
We recognise that a stay in Hospital may be a difficult
and uncertain time for you and your loved ones, but by
offering you “first world” primary medical care, we
commit ourselves to sparing you this experience, unless
it is an absolute necessity, which also saves you and
your Medical Aid from incurring unnecessary expenses.
HEALth-WorX establishes medium sized, 7 to 10 room,
General Practitioner (GP) facilities adjacent or in
close proximity to selected Dis-Chem pharmacies, the
majority of which are based in high traffic retail
shopping centres.
